Also available but not pictured, is a Traditional Colonial Rocking Cradle, This traditional hooded cradle has
heart-shapedcutouts at the head and foot, to allow the cradle to be easily carried from place to place,
as well as wooden knobs on the side which can be used to button or tie down a small coverlet.

The colonial cradle will also have runners which extend out far enough to allow the
cradle to be rocked by the foot, freeing mother’s hands to knit, or sew.
