Around the Shop

We run most of our shop with real workhorses that we hitch into a horsepower gear. With proper sized pulleys along our lineshaft that runs through the shop, we can power modern belt driven machinery. We believe this is a more sustainable way to produce our power than diesel engines or electric as well as keeping our horses in shape. Horses consume renewable resources such as grain and hay, converting it into energy at body temperature and do not produce toxic fumes. Plus we enjoy working with them!
